Envest strengthens its M&A and Placement Team

Envest recruits new hires from Gallagher Re, Holding Redlich, KPMG and Resilium
The Envest Group has added fire power to its Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Placements team with three new hires under Chief Investment Officer (CIO), David Ball and the appointment of Holly Scott as Head of Carrier Management.
Head of Carier Management – Holly Scott
This week Envest celebrated the arrival of Head of Carrier Management, Holly Scott. Holly will be working closely with Head of Broking Craig Robson on strategic partnerships and industry alignment.
Holly has worked in numerous roles in Allianz and Vero, and recently with Gallagher Re in London and Australia.
Envest currently controls $1.7bn in gross written premium (GWP) in Australia and is also well positioned to take advantage of acquisition opportunities in the Australian General Insurance distribution sector.
“We’re seeing abundant opportunity to partner with insurers and talented entrepreneurs to grow their businesses. This new team better matches our internal resources to our aspirations,” David said.
David Ball joined Envest in March from the Macquarie Group, with a remit to work with new and existing partners to drive value and growth.
Joining David on the Envest M&A team is:
Jessica Tanna – M&A Legal Counsel
Jessica joins with 7 years of experience as a corporate M&A lawyer, most recently at national law firm Holding Redlich, where she was a Senior Associate in the Corporate & Commercial team.
Jack Davidson – M&A Analyst
Jack joins from KPMG where he worked as an Executive in Transaction Services with a focus on financial and vendor due diligence, data analytics and value creation.
David Reed – M&A Integration Manager
Joining from Resilium, David has over twenty-five years’ Project Management and integration experience in the general insurance industry.
