Envest is proud to host its inaugural Charity Ball on 17 July 2025, Thursday, at the iconic Tattersall's Club in Brisbane. This landmark event brings together our strategic partners, insurers, and executive leadership for a gala evening that celebrates and strengthens the charitable spirit across the Envest Group.

Held just two days before the first test match of the British and Irish Lions Tour, the evening will feature a special guest panel of Rugby Champions, including former Lions captains Rory Best and Jason Leonard, alongside Wallabies greats Steve Moore and David Croft.

This year, the Envest Charity Ball proudly supports RUN DIPG, a leading charity committed to advancing research and support for families affected by Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG)—one of the most aggressive and underfunded childhood brain cancers.

“Our connection to RUN DIPG stems from broking leader Luke Eagle, whose personal journey has inspired many,” said Paul Lynam, Envest Charity Committee Chair and Ardonagh Community Trustee. “Luke co-founded RUN DIPG after his beautiful niece, Josie, was diagnosed with this devastating illness. Since then, he has become a tireless advocate for research, awareness, and hope.”

Luke’s unwavering dedication was internationally recognised in 2024 when he received The Ardonagh Group’s Community Trust Award in London. His story is one of many examples of how the people within our Group are making a meaningful difference through their commitment to charitable causes.

“By supporting Luke and RUN DIPG, we’re not only contributing to a vital cause—we’re also setting the tone for Envest’s future charitable initiatives, focused on the issues that matter most to our people, their communities, and clients,” Mr. Lynam said.

The evening will include a live auction, special announcements, and a powerful keynote address by Professor Matt Dun, Founder of RUN DIPG and father to Josie.

“We’ve set an ambitious goal to raise $100,000 on the night,” Mr. Lynam added. “All proceeds will go directly toward life-saving research and support programs for affected families.”
