The 2025 Envest Charity Ball was an unforgettable evening that brought together the Envest, Ardonagh and wider community in support of an incredibly important cause – helping drive critical research and improve outcomes for children diagnosed with DIPG/DMG.
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of everyone involved, the event raised $145,000, with all proceeds supporting RUN DIPG and their vital work funding lifesaving brain cancer research for children diagnosed with DIPG/DMG.

A Community United by Purpose
Held in the spirit of connection, compassion and hope, the evening was masterfully led by our MC, Greg Clarke, who brought warmth, heart and humour to the night. Guests were also treated to an inspiring and entertaining rugby panel featuring legends Rory Best, Stephen Moore, Jason Leonard and David Croft, who generously shared their stories and insights.
From donations and raffle tickets to rugby ball purchases and competitive auction bids, every contribution on the night played a role in making this event such a success.
With Thanks from RUN DIPG
RUN DIPG has shared their heartfelt appreciation for the support shown at the Charity Ball:
On behalf of our RUN DIPG community, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Envest, Ardonagh, and the entire community that came together to make the 2025 Envest Charity Ball such an incredible success.
Your support not only honours the lives of children and families affected by DIPG/DMG, but also provides hope for the next family tragically affected by brain cancer.
Turning Generosity into Lifesaving Research
Funds raised through the Envest Charity Ball directly support global DIPG research, including the work of Dr Tuan Vo, an international research fellow working alongside Professor Matt Dun.
Dr Vo is analysing brain tumours donated by families to help develop personalised treatment strategies for children diagnosed with DIPG — a disease that currently has no cure and limited treatment options.
By continuing his work in Professor Dun’s lab, Dr Vo is helping advance promising therapies that offer hope for long-term survival. Events like the Envest Charity Ball make this critical research possible.
Thank You
To everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, bid, volunteered or supported the event in any way – thank you. Your generosity is helping turn hope into action and making a tangible difference for children and families affected by DIPG/DMG.
Together, we are proud to support RUN DIPG and their mission to change outcomes and save young lives.
