Aviso Select will merge into Resilium AR network by January 2024

Brisbane, QLD, 2 August, 2023 – The Envest Group has announced its intentions to merge the Aviso Select Authorised Representative network with Resilium Insurance Broking, effectively combining the two Authorised Representative (AR) networks under the Resilium brand.

Aviso Select began as a concept in 2019 and officially launched to market in 2022, quickly growing to a network of over 30 ARs from Darwin to Sydney.

Resilium is one of Australia’s largest general insurance intermediary networks, with 142 ARs and writing more than $600 million of general insurance premiums annually. Following the merge with Aviso Select, the Group will place approximately $800m gross written premiums (GWP) each year.

Envest’s Head of Broking Craig Robson said, “We’re excited to be combining the collective scale, knowledge, and expertise of the Aviso Select and Resilium businesses with the aim to create Australia’s preferred AR Network.”

Resilium Managing Director Ben Hastie said, “We’re excited about growing our network and welcoming the Aviso Select team. We know this is a great cultural fit and we share the common goal of providing exceptional customer service and specialist advice.”

Aviso Select CEO Andrew Hinz said: “By leveraging the strengths and resources of Resilium and Aviso Select, we will be able to give AR’s the best of both worlds – industry clout with exceptional support.”

A dedicated integration team is in place to ensure a smooth transition for the project which is expected to be completed January 2024. Aviso Select was formerly part of the Aviso Group of brokers – a national cooperative backed by Envest.

Mr Robson said Aviso Group will continue unchanged as Envest’s owner driver broker model.

Resilium became part of the Envest Group, when the UK based Ardonagh Group purchased a majority stake in Envest in February 2023. The Envest Group (formerly Ardonagh Australia) now has a combined GWP of $1.7bn in Australia and provides back of house support and access to a network of complementary business.
