Envest is proud to support the Les Twentyman Foundation’s Back-to-School Program by donating 40 laptops to help children and young people experiencing financial hardship start the school year with the tools they need to learn, participate and thrive.

The Back-to-School Program provides essential school items including stationery, textbooks and technology, helping reduce the financial pressure on families and ensuring students can continue their education with confidence. By removing barriers to learning, the program supports school attendance, student wellbeing, and positive long-term outcomes.

Supporting education for a brighter future

The Les Twentyman Foundation has been running its Back-to-School Program since 1989 and has supported more than 20,000 students to stay engaged in education. Each year, demand continues to grow as more families seek help with the rising cost of schooling.

Paul Burke, CEO of the Les Twentyman Foundation, said the contribution from partners like Envest plays a critical role in ensuring more young people can access education.

“Every year we are seeing more and more families in need of support, and it breaks the heart of all of us at the Foundation when we are forced to turn families away because we simply don’t have the resources to help everyone. Our Back-to-School Program is entirely donor funded with not a cent of State or Federal Government support, so support from partners like Envest plays a vital role in ensuring more young people can start the school year with the essentials they need regardless of their unfortunate circumstances. Education is key to a brighter future, and we want to ensure every young person has the same opportunity to learn as their fellow peers.”

Bridging the digital divide

Technology has become a core part of modern education, and having access to a laptop can make a significant difference for students — from completing assignments to accessing online learning platforms and building digital skills.

Shail Tulsiani, Chief Information Officer at Envest, said the donation reflects Envest’s commitment to supporting communities and helping young people access the opportunities they deserve.

“At Envest, we believe every young person should have access to the tools they need to succeed at school. These laptops will help students participate fully in their learning and stay connected in an increasingly digital world. We’re proud to support the Les Twentyman Foundation and the important work they do for young people and families who need it most.”

Supporting communities through corporate sustainability responsibility

Envest’s donation also reflects the organisation’s broader commitment to corporate sustainability responsibility — supporting stronger communities and creating long-term positive impact beyond business. By partnering with organisations like the Les Twentyman Foundation, Envest aims to help

reduce inequality, increase access to education, and contribute to a more inclusive future where young people have the opportunity to reach their potential.

Making a meaningful difference together

Envest is honoured to contribute to a program that has supported thousands of students over more than three decades — and to stand alongside the Les Twentyman Foundation in helping young people continue their education, strengthen their wellbeing, and build brighter futures.
