The Envest Broking Conference 2025 brought together 530 delegates from across the insurance and broking industry for three days of insights, networking, and celebration on the stunning Sunshine Coast. With 55 sponsors and exhibitors, including our Platinum Partners—Allianz, CGU, Chubb, Hollard, NTI, QBE, Vero, and Zurich—this year’s event was our biggest and boldest yet.
Envest CEO Greg Mullins set the tone with a keynote on resilience, innovation, and growth—celebrating $3.85 billion GWP and over 3,200 people across the group, while unveiling plans for Envest 4.0. “We’re still in the fight, but we’re confident despite the headwinds. Going Above and Beyond is what will set us apart,” shared Mr Mullins. Industry panels and keynotes tackled everything from the evolving role of brokers and regulatory change to the transformative potential of AI and technology in broking.

Over three days, delegates engaged in dynamic sessions and keynotes. Highlights included Richard Klipin, CEO of NIBA, unveiling the association’s refreshed strategy around advocacy, professional standards, and the evolving broker role; a broker panel where Envest’s leading brokers shared candid perspectives on market challenges, innovation, and growth opportunities; and an AI and technology roadmap panel moderated by COO Sarah Grant with David Leach, Simon Agar, and Sam Carlson, who explored practical AI use cases, integration challenges, and the future of broking technology.

Beyond industry insights, the conference also highlighted our commitment to community impact through our new community foundation, Envest for Good. Together, we raised over $120,000 to fund employee-driven projects supporting local communities. As part of this initiative, $50,000 was donated during the event to five remarkable causes—Hummingbird House, Mindful Aus, The University of Sydney’s Frontier FTD Research Clinic, Be Centre Foundation, and the Children’s Hospital Foundation. This milestone reflects the collective spirit of our network and our dedication to creating meaningful change beyond the insurance industry.
The conference wasn’t all business—delegates enjoyed a beach party, a mind-bending show by mentalist Matt Tarrant, a glamorous Gala Dinner with live music, and a lively Fancy Dress Finale featuring top Australian performers. An activities afternoon also gave attendees the chance to surf, jetski, whale watch, or tour local breweries and cider houses.

The Envest Broking Conference 2025 was a true celebration of our industry’s strength, collaboration, and ambition. We look forward to building on this momentum and going Above & Beyond with you again in 2026.
